SCANACON HAS BEEN AWARDED A PROJECT BY BRISMET

Hartville, OH USA (October 10, 2014) – Scanacon Inc is pleased to announce it has been awarded a $950,000 project from Bristol Metals, LLC (BRISMET).

This project will consist of a full acid management system for BRISMET’s stainless steel pipe pickling line that will include two acid recovery modules, one ASRA filtration unit, three acid circulation packages, acid dosing control, process and storage tanks and WWTP pH control with an EQ tank.

The system is expected to be commissioned by the end of December 2014. It will provide BRISMET with the benefits that come from utilizing the best technology available in the industry; i.e. cost savings by recovering acid that would have otherwise been dumped prematurely, realizing increased quality control, increased operator safety and a decrease in the environmental impact of the plant.

In business since 1941, BRISMET is an industry leading manufacturer of stainless, duplex, super duplex, 6 moly, nickel alloy and titanium welded steel pipe. The company is experienced in all major market segments. Scanacon Inc is appreciative of the opportunity to assist BRISMET in achieving the optimum manufacturing environment and looks forward to working with them.
