SCANACON AWARDED AN ACID MANAGEMENT SYSTEM IN CHINA

Acid Management System for existing customer

Shanghai, Hong Kong (2014-10-13) – Scanacon Asia Ltd. and (Shanghai) Environmental Technologies Co., Ltd. are pleased to announce it has been awarded an Acid Management contract from Hunan Xiangtou Goldsky Titanium Co., Ltd., a titanium strip producer in Hunan Province, P.R. of China. The system is an up-grade and expansion of the system delivered by Scanacon in 2010.

Scanacon will up-grade the recovery system to the newly developed SM-ModuFlex and the newly developed SA80 Acid Analyser. In addition Scanacon will deliver additional SM-ModuFlex units and AFM filtration modules to meet the increased production at Hunan Goldsky. With the up-grade and expansion, the customer will get higher acid recovery rates and less waste handling in addition to the improved surface control and process speed.

The customer is one of China’s largest producer of titanium strips, producing high-value materials for demanding purposes.

Order value is approximately 400,000 Euro.
