Large Acid Recovery & Sludge Handling System, for new pickling line
Hong Kong (2017-06-28) – Scanacon Group are pleased to announce we were awarded a large Acid Management System from the leading stainless steel producer Baosteel Desheng Stainless Steel (BDSS) in Fujian Province, People’s Republic of China, earlier this year.
The Acid Management System; consisting of Acid Recovery, an expanded Acid Filtration, Sludge Handling System and a Tank Farm will be delivered in the beginning of 2018 and commissioned in the summer of 2018 together with this new HAPL.
BDSS already has a Scanacon Acid Management System at their DRAPL and also experience of Scanacon from their sister company Ningbo Baoxin. BDSS did a thorough study before choosing Scanacon; looking at environmental impact, acid savings, investment and running cost and sludge handling.
This project widens Scanacon’s scope, and as environmental regulations are getting stricter in China it’s an important and natural step for us to take. The Baosteel Group is already a world-leading stainless steel producer and has plans for further expansion so we look forward to a continued good co-operation and several more projects to come in the near future for mutual benefits.
